Cheongpyeong Snowflake Festival (청평 얼음꽃축제)

Cheongpyeong Snowflake Festival takes place at the spacious reservoir made from trapping the downstream water of Jojongcheon Stream. The reservoir is considered as a recreational resort for water sports in spring and summer, while it serves as the venue for Cheongpyeong Snowflake Festival in winter. Families and friends can enjoy various winter activities such as ice fishing as well as eat grilled trout or hoe (sliced raw fish) made from freshly caught trout. Visitors can also visit the nearby Inland Fisheries Research Institute and observe diverse cultured fish.
